By engaging our services, you (“Client”, “You”, or “Your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use or engage our services.
2. Services Offered:
We provide a wide range of residential and commercial services, including but not limited to:
• House and shop renovations
• Flatpack and bespoke furniture assembly
• Lighting installation
• Painting and decorating
• General repairs and maintenance
• Landscaping and gardening services
All services will be performed with reasonable skill, care, and professionalism.
3. Quotes and Estimates:
• All quotes provided are free and valid for 30 days from the date issued.
• Final pricing may vary depending on the actual scope of work, materials required, and any unforeseen circumstances.
• Any changes to the original scope must be agreed upon in writing and may affect the final cost.
4. Booking and Payments:
• A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, card, or cash.
• Late payments may incur a statutory interest fee of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate for business to business transactions.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• We reserve the right to reschedule or delay services due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, with as much notice as possible.
6. Client Responsibilities:
The Client agrees to:
• Provide clear access to the work area.
• Ensure any necessary permissions (e.g., landlord or council approval) are in place before work begins.
• Remove or protect any valuable or fragile items from the work area.
7. Materials and Guarantees:
• We can supply or work with Client-supplied materials, but we do not guarantee the performance of Client-provided products.
• Workmanship is guaranteed for [insert number] months unless otherwise stated. This does not cover damage due to misuse, wear and tear, or third-party interference.
8. Liability:
• We hold full public liability insurance and take every precaution to carry out work safely and responsibly.
• We are not liable for:
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Delays caused by third-party suppliers or uncontrollable events
• Existing structural or electrical issues not identified prior to work commencement
9. Health & Safety:
• We adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• If hazardous conditions are discovered, work may be paused until the area is deemed safe.
10. Privacy and Confidentiality:
Your personal information will be handled with care and confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations. We do not share your information with third parties without consent, except where legally required.
11. Termination:
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. The Client will be responsible for payment for all completed work up to the date of termination, including any non-refundable expenses.
12. Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal negotiation before pursuing legal action. If unresolved, the matter may be referred to mediation or the relevant small claims tribunal.
13. Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
14. Amendments:
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
